Should i get out of my cave?

When will all these end? How will it all end?

Tuitions on saturdays are ending soon...which means i can go for NUS Silat trainings for the FIRST TIME ever since ermmm...ermm..last year? HAHAHA....I miss silat trainings in school. The close friends..the fun..the nonsense.. Have i ever told you how Lat and me ever came for training early, went for prayers and actually fell asleep at the prayer mat while waiting for training to start?! And we woke up ard an hour plus after silat started!! STEMEK..."Saper bangun dulu kejot tau!" Yeah RIGHT!! Hahaha..I only attended one and a half training with NUS Silat this sem...Nad and Zahzah pon dah join! YEAY!! Bilar lagik kao nak join Kamie...?

Life in my cave in getting lonely. Side effects of tunggal training kot?

But on the flipside..training at Persisi is getting fun. Training WITH the national team is different. You get to see the 'standard' and it is really an eye-opener. At the start, i was very quiet..hahaha...close clique with NUS people and the ASEAN Uni Games (AUG) team only...but as training goes by, the team started to bond with the national team players. In terms of the sport, you learn a lot from them..they're not so 'sombong' as i thot they seemed to be.. Initially, i thot the way they viewed us were like mcm.."Eh, saper arh budak2 university ni?? Sibok jek..." Hahaha...but some of them actually have a lot of respect for us.. We are in the university and some of them dream of going there but are afraid cos for most sportsmen, academics are not in their niche arena. So Raiyan and me sometimes encourage those who talk to us to dream higher and work harder and not belittle themselves too much.

Being the only AUG team member doing seni..at the start, i was practically lost! Thrown around everywhere...hahaha.. They don't know where to put me, cos at first, they had a dedicated coach in Abg Jasni for the AUG team. But the training for for tanding..so i joined tanding training for a while..FUN giler doks! Must implement at NUS arh.. Den, they pulled me aside and i did my own training supervised by the National team Head Coach Abg Hidayat. He's tough sak..the tanding team loved it when i come cos Abg Hidayat will focus on me and they can SKIVE! Siak!

Now, im absorbed into the seni national team training. At least dah tak lost la! Training under Kak Zuhrah and Abg Asnadi..they're nice people. Abg Asnadi pon klakar..and yesterday dier baru potong botak, so he's threatening every guy in the seni team to cut our hair short soon..if not he'll make us go botak like him..including me?!! AKU DAH BOTAK SAK!!

But i really appreciate their effort in making me feel at home..comfortable. They tried to joke with me and all..but initially malu kan. So aku buat muker blur jek lah most of the time!! But ok arh..skarang dah joke balik sikit..*sikit jek!* Takleh over..nanti diorng tahu aku lame!

Abg Asnadi was also telling us at the end of training, time tutup gelanggang, that there are ppl commenting abt us. You know, the usual thing abt tanding lagi teruk dari seni..or that kite slack. But he say, take it as a challenge..no point saying anything.. just bring home medals in GOLD. Then he turned to look at me.."Kao pon sama jugak!" and i asked him "Braper banyak?" with a selenger tone.. Hahaha..it made everyone laugh!(explain: for those who do not get the joke.. Cos i am in one event only per..camner nak menang more than one medal?!)

But haiz, its true. Ppl segregate btwn seni and tanding and compare. How can you compare when the requirements are totally different. Do you need to bother about your posture during a tanding match? Or the technique? Or putting all your 100 steps in 3mins? Its like a 100min sprint and a gymnastic event...u cant compare between them. Both are equally tough in their own sense. Personally, i have no preference but i love tanding training. Hahaha..fun! It seems sadistic la but in army, i've done worse! Esp in fasting month..extended obstacle course training and circuits..sadistic people and they dun even realise its our fasting month until Hari Raya is a few days away!! Hahaha..

Studies wise...i need to buck up. Seriously..what de heck is my parents paying for my education anyway if i stay on like this?!! So the engine is warm again..

I need to get out of my cave soon..

May Allah guide us all..bless us with happiness and health n protect us from the dangers of this world, physically or mentally. Help us become successful people in the world and after...
