Monkey!!
Mama and I went to the National Day Ceremonial Rehearsal on Saturday.. at the new Marina Bay Floating Platform..the largest in the world so far..
But i think this year's show is more catered towards the artistic Singaporeans.. very opera and classical. Hmm.. in short, not very exciting. The fire simmered after the total defence display by the Chinooks, Apaches and other vehicles from the police and civil defence.
Ahhh...the helicopters!! Made me recall one of my dreams...to be a helicopter pilot. So agile, so stylish.. Haiz.. and the assault boats... ahhhh...made me think of making full use of my Powerboating license!! Ahhhh...a boy's dream yet, a man's nightmare! Hahaha..the paradox of age. The more you know, the less you enjoy.
The next day.. i brought the kids to the zoo! Which was a confusion cos i didn't know the k2p match was on the same day too!!! Arrrrghhhh!! Darn...
Anwaes.. the objective was to expose Alfian, my soon-to-be 3yr old cousin to the different types of animals...besides the same few he sees everyday. He developed a liking for monkeys and started calling Rakin, the boy in red Monkey! Hahaha...

(Which again made me think whether i should sign on! But that's the thing with the uniformed groups... so visually pleasing but experientially suck-ing!)
