Hmmm...

K2P had our winning streak halted when we lost 3-1 to RI Old Boys. We had 10 reserves to boast but many that played weren't our original K2People...it wasnt as fun. Most of them had something on, were overseas or had tests to prepare for. But still, that match, especially in the 2nd half showed the grit and fighting spirit, characteristic of K2P. Do or die, we wanted to end of the match in the second half fighting our own battle which is why we substituted out the non-K2Ps in the second half to field an all-that-we-have yellow-jerseyed battle against green.

It's not fun losing, but its great honour to lose fighting hard beside buddies.. for buddies..

That's what makes boys men..

That's what Beng and me had with each other. We had this phrase last time in chinese,
Brothers can betray, but buddies don't...

Being tied in bloodline does not necessarily mean that two people can be close to each other that they'd fight for each other. We have seen many siblings, family members the lives of one another be it for inheritence, out of jealousy or anger and even for the sheer sinister act of it. But rarely do we hear of buddies gunning for each other's blood, or else they'd have severed that buddy status. You have no choice when you're tied by blood but when you have a buddy, you made that choice.

Saying this, i never meant an inkling that buddies are closer than family. It depends on the relationship you have with your family too. If you come from an abusive family or a family bred in envy and evil, of course you might not want to have anything to do with each other and be closer to your buddies. But in most cases, family is the closest form of kinship. And in being so, in most cases, one tends to be very close to family members too.

Let's not dwelve too much on this, i'm not so much a literary person and i will lose out in ANY battle of words but im sure you get my point. No point arguing with me too cos i think we'd be arguing a different point. Hahaha...

Yesterday, my nenek and me had somewhat a talk on hantaran (dowry). The topic was brought up cos my nenek told me she asked my elder sister when she was gonna get married anytime soon. I told my nenek not to worry as people will get married when they feel they're ready. My nenek believes that girls should get married as soon as they start working but gys should wait till they pass 30 so they are stable financially.. WHAT?!! THIRTY?!!! I shrieked... Hahaha.. I dun want to wait till my physical-sexual state starts deteriorating before i start using it! I dun want to be an old father an not have a chance to meet my grandchildren even! I want to get married....ermmm... NOW! Hahaha...maybe not now. Maybe 1 or 2 years after i start working. I believe people should marry young.

WHY?

My plan? Marry young, when i feel ready. Have a small ceremony. If dunnit sanding also can! Just nikah and small momentous ceremony cukup. Humble can still be memorable, plus no financial headache. Large, financial headaches yet it can still be forgettable. Den, dun have baby first. Enjoy legal-couplehood for a year or two. Go for overseas honeymoons and trips and candlelight dinner dates. Have baby before tension starts. Den get a home, dun need to furnish much, just whatever is needed. One bed, one sofa set, one eating table, stove ..dah. Other stuffs, can add bit-by-bit...time-after-time. You home can only get better! Plus...minimise loans! Vehicle? Depends on needs.. (Ain can donate Hitam to us too! Wahaha...GG said he wants to buy a BMW aperr..) Hahaha... Live humbly and happily. That's key. Why bother earning so much too when it brings more troubles, headaches, stress and less time with family? I just want to have a decent occupation, one that i love, that i'd love to bring home anytime too and allows me time to indulge in other activities.

I understand that i seem like a man who lacks ambition but heck.. i have ambitions, humble ones though. I do want to be rich. But if being presented with a choice of wealth and family-happiness, i choose family-happiness. I would prefer if i can have both though! But i would never want to compromise the latter.

So are you ready?

Me and Kamie ever thought this...

We are ready to get married, anytime, even NOW. But we think our parents are not ready for us to get married.

So who's getting married here? Hahaha.... I love you too Bubu.

Dah...enough on marriage..

Back to stroking the Black.

May Allah guide us all..bless us with happiness and health n protect us from the dangers of this world, physically or mentally. Help us become successful people in the world and after...
