Zeedah...rabak tak ajak AHEMZ..
Somehow, going up the flight of steps this morning at nenek’s house reminded me of my grandpa and how he used to go up the steps. Step-by-step with that gait that he walks with. There would be a slight pause after he puts his foot on the next step-up ahead. His one hand nearest to the railing holding on to it..solemn. And it felt just like him to go up that fight of stairs this morning..solemn. Why? Because its project presentation day I guess…dragging my ass to school. It feels like I want to have a fever just for the first half of the day..or some headache..or something. The tutor is so scary and the class seems so hostile besides Choon Keong, Faran and Allan sitting with me..(my FNA groupmates).. Darn..time to slay the dragon..even Bruce Lee had a fear. Even he fought it! My emo morning kot?
Yep…back to my post cut short yesterday. Zeedah called for lunch. Had to work overtime as it was a Monday. I dun work with Zeedah on Mondays (Its Tuesdays and Thursdays by the way..so im off gals these two days!) Anyway..im off gals these days. Brokebacking with the pasrah boys huh? Back to lunch...Yep..Zeedah arrived at ard 1350hr..all dressed up and me..selekeh..she didnt tell me she'd come!! And she didnt invite her good fren..AHEMZ..along. RABAK Zee...and ya..along with Mary..had lunch at The Deck. I tink this was the longest set of conversations i ever had with Mary.. She was so scary back in JC.. never smiled.. Syafiq should know!! And then..me and Zeed sat down at student's lounge to chat while waiting for Mary as she had an appointment at UHWC.
The chat with Zeedah unravelled many things which i otherwise am oblivious about!! Darn...where had i been?! Basically i never cared about all these gossip issues before but damn..so many?! And i knew about none!! Even the word kebabai...what the hell is KEBABAI?! And when Khairin said that to me..i was HUH? What mean kebabai...i thot it was a typo or a shrewd hybrid of kebabat (FATS) and babi (PIG)..hehehe..so i am the epitome (pronounced as "EH-PETOM!" in a very malay lingo) of dumb huh?
At least Zeedah seems happy with her ahemz* BOYfriend (Im the MANfriend..reiterated) and she even managed to incite jealousy from Mary (abislah Akasha...kesian budaktu nanti) And yah...gals do think about settling down fast huh? Cant blame Mary cos time cant really wait for Akasha..and i heard abt our batchmate already having 2 kids!! Zeedah has 9 friends who's married...me? A few..my turn? Hmmm...guess i have to open a separate fund-account for duit hantaran (dowry money) which i heard from some ppl...is at market rate of SGD$10k now?!!! I tink i'll start to save for $25k in case i get a demanding mother-in-law to be...or incase market rate increases either due to inflation or low supply or increasing demand or lower PPP. Hmmm...AAAAAARRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGH!!!!!!!
So now i have the fund for OPS Hitam Kelabu, Coin-Fund for Lasik and Hantarkan fund for Hantaran. Hahaha...damn i need that $1k a month thingy starting from now!
