Lawak in Sarawak 2005!!

Im back from Sarawak!
Had a great time there with people tat i never knew (except one..) and hahahah..new friends emerge out of the 'lawak' a.k.a 'Joke' times we had there. I will talk abt it in phases from day 01 to day 09...but not now larr..just got home daah...maybe tonite arh! Hehehe...story story to you about the mud and rain..the mosquitoes and the leeches..the climb and the descent..and the horror and fun of Sarawak. For your info..we went to Miri..den Mulu..den Kuching..dese are the places in Sarawak where Miri is a one-day old city when we first stepped there..(they had just been inaugrated as a city the day before we arrive there..Dayang Nurfaizah came to grace the occassion ut we missed the HooHah and celebrations!!)Kuching being the capital of Sarawak and Mulu is a National Park in Sarawak.
Sarawak..also known as the land of the Hornbill or 'Bumi Kenyalang' in the mat lingua franca is a Malaysian state in the Borneo Islands along with Sabah. It is situated roughly East of Singapore and takes ard an hour or two to travel by air there. The rest is taken up by Brunei and Indonesia.
I went with Syafiq and his group of friends whom initially i never had contact with..4 ladies and the 2 of us..Hahaha! And we both are the youngest of the group!! There was Wak Lu-Yan, SGT Toon Berani, Kak Aida, Kak Zu, Fyque and Me..
The first day..we took a bus from Kranji MRT tat costs SGD $1 to the causeway..from there, we were supposed to check in but siul larr!! The place (customs) was packed!! It was a Saturday noon..our flight at Senai Airport is scheduled at hmm..1430hr if im not mistaken and we had a chance of getting late..u wouldnt wanna miss a flight especially if ur on a budget!! Hehe..so we took the 'Civilian Taxi'..they a Johorians, stationed at the vehicular queue of the causeway exploiting ppls's need to rush and capitalise on our SGD $10 per pax?!? But we were late maah.. We took the cab straight to Kota Raya and from there..took an Air Asia shuttle bus to Senai Airport.
Flight from Senai to Miri took us less than 2hrs and we had a VERY long wait for a guy from the travel group to pick us up!! We waited till near Maghrib!! From there, we went to Dynasty Hotel..not tat bad.. At night in Miri..we went ard town..to the nearby place..at a shopping ctr..ate and watched a movie there..RM $8..CHEAP HUH?! We watch Kingdom of Heaven..and that was it for the night..
