GREAT DAY!

Hmm..eventful day i had today. Practically riding till my gas tank went to reserve!

I did volunteer work today..my aunt asked this favour of me and my 2 other cuzs, Fazli and Jihan. It was for a teens motivational talk that was held at Madrasah Aljuneid. The guest speaker is Ms Julie Evans..dunno if u noe of her and the Guest Of Honour was Mr Zainudin Nordin, MP for dun remember which Constituency lar..anyway he was late!! It was organised by PPIS (Persatuan Pemudi Islam Singapura) which means Young WOMEN's Muslim Assoc.. I didnt noe that till we went for the briefing last wk..HAHAHA..we were like the only guys at the meeting amongst akaks and aunties!!

My job..coolie, usher, photographer and designer. All of us had multiple jobs but it was fun..stressless! Ali was crazily and happily singing away on the stage mic while preping the presentation..tinking he was Taufik Batisah! Hahaha..and he was always the shy and quiet one..time can change a man huh?

Anyway..i tink the toughest job for us was flower pot decor! We had these number of pots and little place to put. Not so beatiful plants but had to make do..got this auntie (apparently she was an ex english teacher..old..but slang orang puteh rabak lar sial!!) Hahaha..anyway..Jihan, Ali, abg Azhar and Me were tasked to appropriately arrange the pots..made it look decent anyway.After that..when its is nearly time to start..i had to usher in the Guest of honour from his car to the porch / foyer. It was raining..but he was so late it stopped! Me and Abg Azhar had fun trying to memorise his car plate number in case he came in and we qould be caught off guard. Had to reserve car slot for him too...so had to guide the others away. Macam confident je guide orang nak park kereta pat mana..enath2..d other car slots pun dah abis! Hmm..anyway he came..ard 30mins late..shook hands wif him and guided him in. Took photographs and walked ard.

There was dikir barat and nasyid performance too..OK lar..The talk was also Oryt ah..the speaker was very upbeat and hyper..but i guess all motivational speakers are like that..that's why they are one!! I guess the audience were having fun. Mostly gals la but there were a number of guys too..NO AH!! I didnt ogle ard..tengok Mak-CHICS ada lar..(eh Naj?!) Hahaha..But oklar..the akaks and aunties of PPIS are very friendly ppl..tink they are gonna make use of our services too in future..we are now FREELANCE VOLUNTEERS! Hehe..

After that..went out with Ali..go makan pat Eunos..wanted to watch a movie but then Jihan was soo late that we lost interest. Went home instead..my contact lens are dry!!

Anyway..i had a great nyt yesterday at OPS BATTERY MATI ..hehehe..was the first and hopefully not the last!! Hahaha..thank u very much..i got me smiling all the way till i woke up pweety late the next day..but i wasnt late for the event. Tink u had ur share of fun tricking me too..SUKE EH?! Pasal bomoh tu..dun wori..it jus serves as a good reminder for me as well as a morale boost. Looking forward to the next one!!! *Muke cute kesian giler tak leh angkat walaupun pakai bakul durian!*
