I got this from the DXO advertisements on buses. It has always been my belief that once you will always grow by learning. Once a new knowledge is learnt, you grow. You forget how not to know.
Think back..how you learnt mathematical concepts, how you learnt grammer...or how you learnt to cycle. Now, can you remember how not to cycle?? (If you know how to..)
My beloved girlfriend, Kamilah anak pak Mardi, learnt how to cycle on tuesday in half an hour! Well, she was forced to...cos that day, i am bent on teaching her to cycle!! Kamie doesn't know how to cycle..so do her siblings i heard. So we went to sentosa, since we have the islanders' card..paid $5 for an hour of bike rental..and within this 1 hour, she was able to ride comfortably!
It was simple..i am not shy to say that the teaching method was not my own. Well, nothing you know is of your own. By learning, inspiration or wahyu...nothing belongs to you. This teaching method, i chanced upon it in a newspaper section nearly 10 years ago and i knew it will be useful someday...This guy said that learning the bike doesnt mean that you need to fall.
Kamie is afraid of falling.. so step 1; learn balance and braking. step; learn to peddle. step3; learn to control handles. Voila!
I am so proud of my smart minah...
Im sure she is so excited now that she'll be asking me and people to go parks to cycle now!
Next up...is for me to learn blading!! YESSSSAH!!
