The day we did the KITCHEN..
On Monday..earlier this week..my cuz n me went to Busu's place to help Cik Khidir fix their kitchen. That was the only place in their house that wasnt fixed..with a temporary make-shift store room and no kitchen cabinets..Busu had been wishing for her dream kitchen ever since.. And now..Cik Khidir took a week's leave and since we were not working, Cik Khidir was to teach us the art of fixing flooring. YEAH! When we came over..he already took down the unnecessary stuffs as well as the make-shift store room. We first had to organise the stuffs. It was a real budget thingy..recycling all the stuffs he had. So he didnt spend anything..HAHAHA.. Then we had to raise up and even up the floor.. The thing abt budget work is we had a lot of calculation and problem solving to do..as we had to check and see whether the equipment we had could fit into the area or not..whether THAT particular type of floor colour was enuf.. and so on..
Several problems came up like when we disovered the boards were not of the same serial numbers..it came from a different batch and so we had to find the ones that match..it ended up ok.. Then we transited till morning.. so we had to convert from using the jigsaw to the hacksaw..shack man! But we managed to complete the main parts of the kitchen lar..Saturday..we going to help out again..
