Life is FUN!

During the hols... here's what i've been doing besides the usual Silats and sitting at home...

This is still during Silat.. instead of TeamNUS Silat, we have here the TeamNUS Banglas! Hahaha...me and Ibrahim hanging on for our dear lives at the back of the lorry our dear Naufal was drivin'.. so you know why we had to hand on!! Especially when the tailboard cant be closed due to the size of the tables that we loaded up.. seems like we were sailin' actually!

Then, there was one time Mama and me went to East Coast Park. I wanted to learn to rollerblade! It was expensive..$10 bucks an hour!! So as you can expect..i fell down a lot.. practised on grass first.. Fell and fell till i gave up and ended up cyclin' the bike kamie rented with my blades still on!

Haiz..this then is my favourite drivin attire. Drivin with helmut on!! If schumacher wears a helmut while drivin an F1 car, then i should too cos i press the accelerator harder!! Hahaha...though the car can't go as fast as his...

Anwaes, I got a taste of busking already!! Hahaha...not exactly. I was sitting outside the CC kamie works at so while waiting for her, i took out my guitar blackie and strummed whatever i know (limited). Hahahaha...there where streams of student coming out from their schools who may have thot "ooooh...hansem abang playing rubbish", and people from the CC thinking "this boi should really sign up for a guitar course at the CC".. Hahaha!!

Haiz...life is only as fun as u'll make it out to be!!

Cat Fought?

Yayy!!! I got TWO students under my belt now! First the Mama and then the Oteh. I'll try to put this is pictures... got this ilham from NH's blog.. Phish likes to do it.. Its NICE the way they do it.. so i'll dabble a bit in it....

This is Faatihah's journey...

She was our child for the day... Mama and Papa taught their child how to cycle.. Unlike Kamie, Faatihah didnt learn as fast. FYI: Kamie took half an hour to learn to cycle. Oteh didn't do as fast. She passed the one hour mark... she took around one and a quarter of an hour to learn to balance with both feet on the pedals. She had two bad falls in the 'learning area'...

1. Cycled...couldnt change direction or slow down as she headed towards the railings. BAM!! Bike got thru under the railings..she got stuck on the railings by the waist! It was a painful lookin' one!!

2. Same situation but she didnt get stuck this time but fell flat on the ground. Onlookers were concerned! Tore her jeans but not her spirit...Kudos!

Then daddy thot she was ready to go out so Mama and Papa went with little Oteh to take two more bikes and we cycled around Pasir Ris Park!! We covered the ENTIRE PARK!! Kamie learnt to stand while cycling... Its a good confidence builder! Little Oteh had two more bad falls...

1. Saw an indian baby in her path.. panicked. Had a bad fall..got abrasions on hands and knees. Spirit still strong. Little indian baby and her family stood stunned as Little Oteh lay in their path..

2. Little Chinese baby in Oteh's path. Daddy saw from far...expected Oteh to panick... shouted at her to brake slowly and not panick.. Too late! She slammed her brakes, flew over the baby and lay flat on the ground. Baby? Unhurt..but stunned. Started crying real bad. Parents? Not around... Oteh? Shirt dirty...more abrasions. Spirit still strong. Mentally and Physically exhausted...

I am lucky i got two great sudents. Both strong mentally.. many would have given up after falling badly but Oteh didnt. Mama hasnt fallen yet. But i hope and pray all the time she doesnt!! im not the best teacher around. I have high expectations (in this case, that they be able to cycle within the rent period.) And sometimes..i raise my voice. But im not angry.. But results matter...and a testimony to that? They cycled the entire Pasir Ris park...

Next up...learning to conquer uphills!!

Then Uncle Chong Chee Keong came along from PSK... Joning us for our picnic by the beach eating bee hoon masakan mak betol Oteh.

Chatted...chatted...basically chatted about all of the things concerning us all. Silat, gals, guys...school, life. So emooo...

Then today..i attended Farah's wedding. Farah Eza to be exact cos i also know the younger Farah..both siblings coincidentally..

Those who know me very well, know the irony in the picture below... Hahaha... but it was great to be able to meet up old pals.. Evidently, Singapore IS small. Met other people that i know besides my JC frens too! Rabakkk...Lynna, Azack and Fyq tak datang sakk..

People were joking about catfights... Hahaha...

My uncle (Cik Zul) was relating to me how he felt too when all of his frens got married and they kept asking him when his turn was to come... Hahaha..that after he asked me when i was going to get married!!!

InsyaAllah....ones HHF is full!

Later on, i caught up with the guys in the evening to play soccer at boon lay. OLD. That is one word to describe a bunch of 'veterans' playing around with kids and an uncle at a street soccer court. We barely could run!! At least we won a game... Hahaha.

And lastly....

U too....

Haiz...i should end this entry..my lower back is aching!!

**And yayyy!! Henry is moving to Barca!!

May Allah guide us all..bless us with happiness and health n protect us from the dangers of this world, physically or mentally. Help us become successful people in the world and after...

Carbon Fibre Blackie!!

Just came back from reservist...

Hellova time there...to think about it, it was i think the first time i cheonged after being commissioned as an officer nearly 4 years ago!! Darnn...it was fun having a platoon of soldiers to call your own. Of course i had one when in 4SIR but it was not a conventional role...

Well..it was still great fun though..my fellow colleagues were marvelling the fact that even though we had minimal sleep, i could some how stinge off sleep everywhere i went! I could instantaneously sleep in the tonner..i could sleep in the BUA area when it was raining heavily..and i could even sleep in the briefing room under the trainer and NOT get caught!! That is why i can be so energetic when i needed to be maah...Hahaha!!

Then it was kumie's birthday..on friday, i think she was disappointed. But i finally made her beam a million-gazillion watts on saturday when i presented "Zola Jr Busyukk"!! Born on the 16th of June 07, Zola Jr Busyukk is a Champion bear that i got from Vivocity at Build-a-Bear shop where u are involved in the making process of the bear you are getting. It becomes much like 'giving birth' to one..i felt like a father once more! Awwww....first, i picked out the type of bear i wanted. I choose the 'Champ Bear' cos buying that would contribute to the children suferring from diabetes, cancer or other illness. Champ Bear is supposed to give hope to the children so they'd persevere with life and nbe strong. It has also a lot of patches, signifying the numerous scars i have on my body! Plus, i love the colour and the texture of the fur. The, i filled the bear up with wool, i made it soft and cuddly so that kumie can hug it to sleep every night in place of me. Before i stiched it to seal, i picked out a heart, held it in my hands, rubbed it warm and made a wish (**Secret!!) Then before i forgot, i placed our first ring in it..Hence, Zola Jr became the steward of the ring! Next, i cleaned it up...brushed it and blow dried it to remove the loose fur and dust. Then i proceeded to register the bear online and out came its birth certificate. WOOOAHHH!! I also got faded denim overalls for the bear since i liked to wear jeans. Thus, this bear signifies....ME!!

I always told her i would just give 'ME' to her complete with a ribbon for her birthday and hence, technically, i did!! Hehehe... She loved it to bits! Kept hugging it... plus, i inseminated my smell onto it so she can smell me to sleep everynight!! Lmao (how aisyah?? betol??)

Thank you Ayah kumie for letting us be together..thank you to our families for being supportive..

Talking about families, i just came back also from a dinner at Al-Azhar with my family in commemoration of father's day. I was a bottomless pit! I ate maggi goreng (not nice..tak pejal..its soggy like maggi that is cooked a wee bit long!! The AUG ppl and my ex-runner should know how i like my maggi to be! It should be SPRINGY) I also ate milky prata (prata with condensed milk and sugar...diabetic!) and i ate half of aisyah's murtabak chix and cheese. I also ate tandoori chicken and satay power...it's damn long lah!! Hahaha....im on an eating spree!!!!! Plus, silat is over and done with...so i'm gonna get fatty!!

Eating as a family is fun..we all kacau aisyah and talked in msn lingo with the lmao and rotfl..we marvelled at how aisyah could drink up 8 vitagen bottles in a day (apparently its bad for health) and how ain is constipated. We took pictures of aisyah gobbling up her larger than A4 murtabak!! And, the Suria guys are there too..Imran Ajmain, Hyrul Anuar and all..i dunno their names... no bon jovi or andy lau tho.. Ahh yes!! Ain's gonna collect her fujitsu tablet laptop tomoro at nus!! I was convincing (pestering) her to subsidise my external hard disk drive... pleeeeeaaaase ain... hehehe.

Ain...i also saw this online!! Ain and me got this fascination of carbon fibre...so this is my next blackie..

OMG...its an acoustic-electric carbon fibre doks...

check out the shape of the backside (butt)..oooooooohhhh... Like i've said..
"..im a butt person.."

Haiz....it costs US$3k...
Nevermind...

Haiz..i just wish i could shake off this frustration lingering in me..

May Allah guide us all..bless us with happiness and health n protect us from the dangers of this world, physically or mentally. Help us become successful people in the world and after...

RUSH!!

Getting ready..

All ready to go.

But im missing one item...MY BERET!!!

Haiz...ok people! I will be gone for the week due to reservist duties. Will be back for Kamie's birthday celebrations dun worry!!

No time to update much...

May Allah guide us all..bless us with happiness and health n protect us from the dangers of this world, physically or mentally. Help us become successful people in the world and after...

Four Haunting Rusts ME.

Empat kali empat..

4 times four...

That number has been haunting me ever since the first attempt at the ring.
4

Arrrrghhh...and at last week's ivp...i got 4th for both events!! One was disappointing while the other was Ok..

Think Syed did very well despite being a last minute fill-in for Chong and being his first time ever doing seni and being in IVP. He did his very best in every training and had been showing improvement every time we were on the mat. Abang Jas and Abang Azmi may have had their doubts since the very first moments but they understood my choice.. no one else dared to take up the challenge. No one else dared to step up.. Syed did. From this, we got 4th..not 7th..not last. We met our objectives..ALL of them. We hit 3 minutes FLAT! Our costumes didnt fall apart. All the flips werks! And i did the 'spasm' thingy i always wanted to do in a competition when Syed 'slashed and stabbed' me in the end. It was NEVER about the medal cos deep down, we knew chances were thin. Some people out there reading this may think of this as a loser's excuse but if you really knew where we were coming from, you'd know. And im really happy we didn't disappoint anyone. Kudos...and i hope from this experience, Syed will become a better pesilat and a better more athletic person. Then all our efforts will not be in vain. Thanx Syed!

On my part..there again goes my chance of any medals. Then again..i got a great medal this year which comes with monetary incentives! An IPPT GOLD plus $400 bucks to top it! This after 2 years ORD. Yeesahhhh!! I bet not many people can do it...hehehe...**Evvvviiiiilllll grin...**

That shows...i'm still fit. But then, right after my matches on Sunday..i pigged out! And i really mean 'PIGGED' out! Kueh-kueh, chocolates, coke lights, nasi, ayams...banyak gils la... i dun feel fat now. I just feel like candy-man from ghostbusters. Ingat? Or maybe slimer that green ghost who kept gobbling up food...

All that eating was done on Kem Perkampungan Bahasa 07! It was a hip-hop themed camp and i was a facilitator for Kerongcong Rockerz with Faatihah. Initially my group was quiet and unresponsive but in time..i think we were the very few group that rocked! We got third as a result in the best group competition at the end. You can really see the talent that these kids have at a young age of sec 1/2..they can compose sajaks and puisi..they can breakdance and do hiphop..they can zapin and ronggeng...just name a form of seni and i'm sure one of the campers can do it.

Night-time was fun..those sideline activities.

I was in the same room as Nidzam and Chong (for one night). The first night was funny! Chong dreamt of regu while i dreamt of teaching someone tanding. So in the 'real' world..i think we ended up hitting and kicking each other...that's what Chong claimed cos he couldnt sleep well! There was also a point of time at night when i woke up to find Chong walking to the door...then i asked him what he was doing.. He just turned aroung, walked back to the bed, not saying anything and slept again. Hahaha...Nidzam can testify to that!!

Sleeping in camp was also good. Every opportunity we had, Nidzam and me would report back to bunk to sleep..and most of the time, we overslept! Then our fellow facis would call to look for us. Hahaha...sorry Teha! Haiz...Faatihah also proved me wrong! I thot she was like something else...but haiz...Teh teh... Ishk ishk ishk...think kamal spoilt her brain and i think i should tell Faathir too! Plus...there was this boy camper who looked exactly like a younger Faathir and his name is Faris... i told Faatihah that perhaps her parents sold of their brother when they were young...but she was reluctant cos she didnt want to lose her anak bongsu status! Nak mak suap jek!!

And kamie too stayed in camp...hehehe.. so we celebrated our 11th monthsary. Itu pon when she was sleepy!! We went to Cheese Prata shop ajek la...the walk back was dreadful as both of us were tired and sleepy and it was 3am! So going up the Central Lib-YIH hill was a drag.. we decided to stop at a bus stop and talk. Then we proceeded up the hill...taking turns to push each other from the back..it was so tempting to roll down the hill once near the YIH. darn...but we didnt. The second night was better...since debrief ended early, we could go jalan2 early so we went to YIH subway to talk and rilex..and eating.

Apparently my room mate also had his agenda... Hahaha.. deadly coincidences led me upon a discovery. Haiz...dalam diam eh! Ishk3...

Now...im just waiting for my last time-sucker this month... In camp training!!!!!
I'll be with a totally new platoon and knowing men, they'd hate authority especially new ones. They'd give them hell...and make their lives difficult. I'd just have to be myself. I love being myself. Cos if people hated me...they'd hate me when im being myself so i'd know. I just love things simple. Not many people are like me though...so sometimes its hard being me. So i'd just enjoy making people feel frustrated working with me!! No lah...i'd just work alone. Its hard..but its easier than getting a team to work together. But that's just me.. if there is no time, i'll just work with what i do best. If got time..then challenge me. But don't give me too much time cos i will fizz out! Give me short deadlines please...i thrive in situations that squeezes my adrenalin!

OKlah...

Finally..i've booked my TP test for 2A. Darn that not riding for 2 years...im rust!

May Allah guide us all..bless us with happiness and health n protect us from the dangers of this world, physically or mentally. Help us become successful people in the world and after...
