A bid to keep to my 2010 new year's resolutions...

This week and next will be hell week...

Presentations are scheduled for the 5th and the 10th of November. At least for 3001, the judge will be Ah-Neo alone. However for 3002, they said there are gonna be 11 judges in total. 9 Venture Capitalists (real ones!) and our lecturer and the TA. But for both mods, this project counts for a 100% of the module score. ARGHHHH!!!

I feel like peeing now but i can't as there is no one to take care of the bag and laptop!

A weekend of jalan raya made me even rounder and my tummy even bigger. It was such a rich outing that i felt so sick at the end of each one. Felt like exploding with all the food in my gut and the sleepiness at the end of it all... so much so that on Monday.. I COULDN'T WAKE UP IN TIME FOR 3102!! Wahaha...

Darn... I really need to pee..

Haiz... Finally!!

Finally i am updating... no time to blog. Actually, i could have time if not for the no-internet situation! Hahaha...but i didnt have time at school to blog la...

The photo above has been my wallpaper for the past few month. It is a photoshop-ed picture of a Fender Stratocaster. I changed the body colour to dark brown (sunburst with bold grain patterns).. The fretboard (the area where your finger presses the strings to get notes..) is rosewood (dark brown) and 22 fret. I don't think it is jumbo frets (the metal wire strips dividing the fretboard into 22 sections) , more likely large or medium sized. The guitar shown above has vintage tremolo with 6 screws. It has 3 single coiled pickups...

Well...here's the coincidence... or maybe i just gravitate unconciously towards this style since i luv the style. (If i didnt like it this way, i wouldnt have photoshopped the original guitar into this look!!) This, below, is my electric guitar!

Most of the specs are correct except for the 'Lace pickups'. I dun think it's lace but it is Duncan Designed. I dun think it makes any difference from a normal ciplak pickup lah cos a replica is always a replica! Wun beat the real Seymour Duncan but then it should be better than a super Ciplak one! Hahaha...

It was only until today that i realised the similarity between my guitar and my 'dream' guitar on my wallpaper! Hahaha.. at least Kamie didnt go wrong persuading me to buy this guitar. I had actually wanted to go for the Washburns cos i was somewhat drawn to the design. Plus, i wasnt really attracted to rosewood fretboards, i was more into maple fretboards (lighter beige colour and brighter sounding) but the more i look and play the guitar at home, the more i begin to like it very much!

So i decided to do abit of research on it this noon after solat... not bad... Korean made though but dun think you can get mid-low priced guitar anywhere other than indon/korea/china and i think korea should be the better of the bunch. This is a closer look to the grain pattern on the body... oooooohhhh.....

And i didnt get an amplifier as yet... and i shouldnt...

Exams are a month away with all my project deadlines!! oooh nooo!!!

If i got an amplifier, i just spend time stroking the ermmm... i havnt got a name for this one as yet. But so nice arh...

Not feeling well... Out of sorts...

I think im pregnant. Im feeling nauseated. Maybe it's my comment after i proclaimed that i am ready to be a father (at Cik Idah's house when i was carrying my nephew..)

Maybe it's the lack of exercise.

In no mood to do anything... cos of this... i lost 37marks out of a possible 80 in my midterm to emptiness. Dumb? No..it's called helplessness. I dunno wad's got into me.. I feel that i'm impregnated with negativities and my body reacted to it like it would to kryptonite.

Euphoria turned into Dysphoria...

Maybe it's raya coming...

Hahahahaha.... I had to pray to god sooo much before my presentation. And i had to tell myself.. "THINK FARID!"

Somewhat i pulled it off..not much.. mybe 60% of his power. But it sufficed! Hahaha.. can lah.. ONE more presentation this week to go.

Still need to study for my TWO midterm test. Hehehe..Nasib nasib..

Just learnt about "tacit cooperation". Basically..this is a student or actually life thingy. "If u dun F@#* me..i wun F$%@ you..." Right now, a group that broke that cardinal rule is BEING F@&%!! Go google that... Its like the cartel in oligopoly...

I managed to do 3 out of 4 qns for my tut 4...was doing it with Salmah tadi.. (ZERO PUN intended!) And yes...we plan to get 1 star each this coming tutorial. Basically, my lecturer cum tutor is fun! I like him.. (AGAIN...Zero pun intended) He gives stars for EVERY participation yang bernas... AND, it doesnt have to even be correct! Thats right! That is so good la...he IS very encouraging and that is something sorely needed in the education sector. PLus... even though his english is not that good..(he's foreigner..) he's humorous!

I so look forward to his tutorial...(even when i have not attempted questions beforehand!) Go for A lah gini... INSYA'ALLAH...

Selamat berpuasa mama (and semua...) Looking forward to buka with the cuzzins and mama is joining!! (plus...'IT' as mamang fazli terms it..our nephew.)

I feel so sick... soon, i might go thru oral diaorrhea... my head is spinning. But YET, i feel hungry.

Hahaha..feelings that u get from gorging urself with buffet for buka. We had buffet at Sakura International. OOOOHHH..... Best nyer tapi mahal gils sey. Spent an amount for food at one go, one that i would spend in a month total for food (during ramadhan) or in 2-3weeks on a normal week. 27bucks seh!!

As usual...i dun have the pics! It was fun and laughter... talked abt unagi and some onani or something.. HAHAHA...now i noe the meaning! Haiz... without red, azack seems to be the dirty-horny one.

Recommended takes at the buffet? Choc truffles and durian puffs! Gerek...durian dia ori dok! (Pastikan yang ori..) Hahaha... The rest was ok jek.. Haha..so overall, i DUN SUGGEST GOING THERE cos the money aint worth it! I hear carousel is good... yet to bring my mama there. Yet to even go there also!

Yet... our stomachs were bloated, full and hard. We felt like vomit would follow every burp. Farting would happen too if not for us being in Lynna's car.. (Well, fyq kentot at Joo Chiat anyway! Hahahaha...) I'm still feeling the after effects of the food...

on the bad note..

Those people still have not credited my money. It's a month liao! So useless and inefficient. All the hype abt the organisation la... better than standardchart marathon la.. more honorarium la.. ALL BULLSHIT. We get abt the same pay for abt more days of work and a bigger event. Only get a tshirt and cap..nothing else. I did not get a proper volunteer leader shirt because not enough size some more!! Poor communication of jobscope and everything... nonsense man!

Sesungguhnya aku sedang berpuasa...

Haiz.. And my fren is caught between the crossfire. I feel bad bombarding him every week la but he's THE point of contact for the volunteers per.. now i'm sort of tawar hati to volunteer for standchart dah. Haiz..

And later AND tomorrow i have got presentation. I am so off-colour la today.
